i spent 8 hours today completely re-doing my sound system.. and ran into a few problems along the way..

For one.. we installed a capacitor.. and unknowingly we never charged it before install.. after realizing it wasn't working we attempted to charge it.. and got no reaction whatsoever.. and ideas?

Secondly.. i bought 2 wiring harnesses for the new head unit i was installing.. one came with my head unit when i ordered it from crutchfield.. and i had another i ordered a long time ago from sounddomain.. both are supposed to fit my vehicle.. they're identical.. we went to put the damn headunit and equalizer in.. and the harness didn't match up.. didn't even come close to fittin.. what could possibly be the problem? Has anyone else had similar troubles? Or.. has anyone w/ a 96-98 ordered a wiring harness somewhere and could give me a suggestion as to where to get it?
