Opinion on Tire

What do you all think about the Yokohama Geolander + II tires?

They look sweet.

My wife has them on her Montero Sport... pretty good in the rain, fairly quiet. That's all I can comment on though, she doesn't go off road, and we haven't had them but for a month or so, so no snow yet.

I'm a fan of Yokohama for performance vehicles, I have no idea how they've done for light truck/SUV tires. Having said that...

Nice tread design. Looks good for city/highway. I don't know how it would perform off-road though, and the tread life at an estimated 40,000 miles is less than most others.

How much would the tire cost you?

Have a good friend runs those on her jeep, they actually work really good, but the sidewall is kinda weak, she tore one up at reiter once, never follow a bogger when it bangs up against stuff if you have a radial, it won't make it..
