Hi, I just purchased my 97 4Runner. I have a few questions. I did try searching this but didnt find any solid answers.

Ok, 1st, Will a 15 inch wheel clear the brakes?

Will 32-11.5-15 fit? Or, if not, will 31-10.5 15 fit?

How hard is it to put an aftermarket non-power antenna on?

And, what is the 3.4 liter engine from that year called?

If you search you will find your answers quickly as this is a common question. As far as I know, if your runner came with 16s stock then 15s will not fit, and the 3.4L is called the 5VZ-FE. Welcome to yotatech!

 

one of the reason i bought my hilux surf was my new bfg a/ts i got will fit when the bfgs that came on it wear out... and my mud kingz will fit too!

all the 3rd gens i looked at had 16 inch wheels except one 4 banger that had high kms and no e locker...

alright, thanks. i thought the engine code was different from reading.

i guess ill stick to the 16s with like 265-75-16s.

this forum is filled with good info i just have to figure out a way to find the stuff i want to know easier. i tried searching for install of a custom radio and i had like 15 pages.
