I need to find this bracket for a 3rd gen 1996 3.4L 4runner. Someone tried to break into my car and in doing so damaged this bracket, rendering the door opening mechanism useless. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. This is the drivers side. It looks like there is also a clip, that would also be useful if someone can help me find that. I've scoured with no luck.

Sort of, I ended up purchasing one for Ebay and it was the passenger side, but I was able to get the stupid plastic clip off and put it on the driver side actuator I had. I'd recommend you take it off the door and look at it. If I had done that I would have been able to adjust it to where the metal slide bracket couldn't have come off and it would have worked by jerry rigging it. One idea would be to wrap a rubber band or zip ties around the plastic clip with the metal bracket on it to keep it in place. I have now gotten my door to work without having to change my actuator out due to replacing the clip, I really can't believe they don't sell them seperate; but they don't.
