sorry, crappy picture but it's the only one i could get off before it got dark. i'll clean it up tomorrow and snap some more.

i ended up getting a 1.5" gain from the 883/n91s in between the sag over time from the 882s and the new coils. so if you're looking for that something to level out your lc lift, this is it! i have to discuss this with Doug over at ToyTec but after this he should be replacing the 882s with the 883s. before and after measurements are as follows (ground to fender): before: 40.5" (both sides) after: 42" (both sides), this includes a trim packer on the driver side.

EDIT: Thanks to Blake for the tip, would have never thought of it without him, anyways if you have trouble lowering your uca enough to line the bottom of the strut with the mounting holes on the frame, THIS does the trick! i'm not going to lie, i was scared poopless after a certain point but to my surprise the wheel well held perfectly. the passenger side i had to base differently so it wouldn't extend far enough so i ended up putting a 2x4 on the top of it and voila!

as for the tire carrier, i'll tell you for sure after i put the 305 on, but now i can see great, anything i need to see in the center can be viewed from the rearview mirrors...and don't forget my body sits 2 inches higher than the tailgate. like i said up top the rim will look a lot nicer after i'm through with it

paint restoration is a misxutre of acid wash, clay bar, wax and polish to get paint overspray and spots off and hopefully restore it to near-new

on seperate note, spare's getting mounted in the am, just got the mtr today and cleaned her off pretty well (couldn't tell how well cause it was dusk) i'll keep you posted on both

oh and i swapped out my IPFs with my old kc hi lites today. I think the stone guards blend a little better with the bull bar, pics tomorrow

alright she's pretty much done now except for the cleaning part. i'm designing the limb risers right now but i have to put that second to school for right now so it's going inch by inch. thought i'd snap a few while i was in jiffy lube's clean bay getting the oil changed

Over the next week I'm going to take the trailer hitch off and modify the mounting holes so it will be tucked in approximately 3", this will bring the tire carrier closer to the body and hopefully achieve more of an oem look

It looks way better now with the new tire and the refinished wheel!

I like it... except for the spare tire on the rear... It really subtracts from all the hard work you've done.

Personally I think the spare looks great! I see it driving down the road and it just looks like an awesome ride! With it closer to the body about 3" like you were saying it will look even better!

thanks steven

yeah i don't know what you mean about subtracting from the work i've done, i'd like to think it's added to it.

also, costco has a sale on coleman safari racks for $75!!! anywhere else is a tad over 200, should be here at the beginning of next week. i'm trying to find out how the front rails are situated, wondering if i can put my ipf's back on the arb and stick the kc's up top

and for the paint restoration, 2 bouts of rubbing compound and a coat of nufinish has me halfway there, stripping her down and going at it again with the claybar and finishing it off with 2 coats of wax..don't know what kind yet though, so far this is what she's looking like, the water spots are finally coming out, still a hell of a long way from ric's job though

Nice yob!

If you ever get bored, would you mind measuring the distance from the bottom of your carrier to the middle? My CBI carrier is different, much lower... I don't ge it.
