Hello folks. The keyless entry mechanism itself works great, however the horn doesn't go off nor do the lights flicker when you lock or unlock the doors with the keyless entry remote.

Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix? Thanks for any help!

 

It could be in VALET MODE ON (No Security Functions),Try and change the settings...read/print from this link:

Judging by the pictures in that link, I don't think I have an OEM toyota remote..
