Ignition fuse
#1
This is going to sound stupid but I have never heard of it before. I had to replace the head gasket on my 93 truck woth a 22re. I put it all back together, and it wouldn't start...
Checked timing, checked vacuum hoses. I checked everything. Finally, a friend of mine who owns a wrecker yard came an picked it up. He looked at it and a few days later he told me it was ready to be picked up. He told me the problem was I blew a 7.5 amp fuse in the fuse block, being the "ignition fuse." I have never heard of this problem. Anyone else suffer this iritating, yet simple, problem? Thanks. :pat:

I have seen it happen when you start disconnecting wires with out first unhooking the battery. did you unhook the battery first????? you should have check the fuses first after it would not start
