I'm totally confused by my situation, and hopefully I can explain it well. Here are the two trucks I'm comparing: 2000 4Runner (mine), 2002 Taco TRD (Dad's).

I have the 2.5" ToyTec spacers, he has the Pro-Comp spacers which I think are 2-3". I have stock coilover assembly w/ Tokico shocks, and he has stock coils w/ Rancho 5000's.

Now my question is, when you jack up his truck, his wheels droop like 4-5". His CV is at a pretty freaky angle, and he just has pretty good droop. However, when you jack up mine, it only droops like 1".

I was thinking it was the shocks, that they just didn't have more travel, but I was thinking this morning and I don't think that's the case (but it could be, and there is something else I'm missing). When we installed the lift, the coilover assembly was just about exactly long enough to fit in the truck with someone pushing down on the A arm REALLY hard. Now, because of this, I'm leaning towards something else being the limit for my lack of travel.

Why would his TRD Taco have so much more droop than my 4Runner? Is there something else that would be limiting droop that is different from the Taco to the 4Runner? I thought the front ends were the same?
