Help Please ... I removed my timing belt and the new one has no reference lines

Could someone take a look at a NEW timing belt for a (2002 4runner) and count the teeth in between the left and the right Cam Marks so I have something to use as a reference point ?

And could you also count the teeth in between the Driver side Cam mark and Crank shaft gear mark and are the marks on the tooth or in between teeth ?+
The marks should have been there but unfortunately are not.

Thanks for your help .

Best Regards

You really don't need the marks on the belt, use the marks on the cam and crank sprockets, set the tensioner off and crank it over a few times and re-check that your cam and crank align again.

Just in case anyone else runs into this problem ......

The teeth count that I used was:

Crank to left cam: 69
Crank to right cam: 72
Left Cam to Right Cam: 50
Total Teeth: 191

The mark will land between two teeth vs on a tooth.

As mentioned above you may not need the tooth count but it gave me peace of mind that the belt is in the exact position that it needs to be.

Once you rotate the engine 2x it will not line up with the marks any longer and I am not sure how many revolutions would be needed to align again but "yes" eventually the lines should line up at some point .... I am sure that someone knows this off the top of their head.....

The marks on the belt would take an irrelevant number of rotations to realign, but the marks on the cam and crank will line up again after a few complete rotations, this check is required to insure everything is correct, most just buy Asian T-belt kit from "aircabinman" on ebay, asian is the OEM and has the marks on the belt, only other belt I'd consider is Gates kevlar, but oem t-belts last 200,000miles easy if not longer being non-interference, glad you got it sorted, its usually the tension bolt that breaks off causing people issues, or not torquing the crank bolt to 250ftlbs, or breaking the crank reluctor wheel teeth.

I'm pretty sure I was in my mid 30s before any manufacturer started putting marks on timing belts.
It's all about the cam and crank timing marks that are always there, just don't trust the mark on the dampener unless it agrees with the mark on the crank gear.
