I've searched these forums and pretty much everywhere I can think of on the net and I am stumped. I have a 99 Limited with the factory alarm. (3 button remote arm, disarm, rear window down) My friend just got me 2 remotes from 99 4 Runners (don't ask) and I need to know how to program them. I looked for the brain for the better part of this evening and can't find it so I don't think it is the RS 3000. I found some info on the RS3200 on the Rav4 site (http://rav4world.com/brochure/alarms/rs3200/rs3200.html) BUT it says without factory keyless, which I assume disqualifies me. Does anyone have a book or can shoot me some directions on the Alarm (specifically adding remotes, changing features, etc)? Thanks a million in advance.

 

Call your dealer and give them the VIN # on the truck. They can tell you if your remotes are the right ones and may even program them for free.
