Header/Exhaust Advice (98 4Runner 5VZFE)

Just got my new engine yesterday and working on the swap (long story). I was considering doing a whole new header/exhaust set-up on the new engine since it's already out and really don't want to put the effort in pulling the old stock stuff off my old engine. Any recommendations on header/exhaust set-ups? I also have heard the stock exhaust manifold is restrictive and putting in TRD headers/exhaust with a stock manifold doesn't help you much, thoughts?

Also thought about adding in the super charger, but the pocket book is a bit thin for that.

Thanks
Matt

Downey headers are the way to go. TRD is too expensive for what little it gains. Ide recomend a flowmaster muffler and magnaflow high flow cat. I dont really know of entire bolt up kits aside from TRD. Also youll want intake Ide recomend AEM with there dryflow filter that never needs oil and is easy to clean. Check out URDusa.com and downey offroad.

For intake just do teh simple deckplate mod.
Easy and cheap.
While stock hearders may be restrictive, without the supercharger, there is realyl no gain to them.
I have the TRD cat back for a muffler set up and am happy with the setup. about the same sound as a flowmaster I believe 60 series and same breathing room.
As for highflow cat, I still am researching this.
But if you do want to go headers, research to see which ones will gain you more power, i have heard mixed review and am having trouble finding numbers on what will get me more power.
