How do you remove the grill on a 97 4runner. I was lokking at it and saw these little clips it looked like. How do you undo them?

I had the same question a few weeks ago. Removal is the same on mine as on yours. CLICK HERE to see my previous thread.

i'm guessing it's just like my 02, so it's pretty easy. just get a screwdriver and kinda press on it, so it slips out. you gotta be firm yet gentle at the same time so you don't break one of the clips.

Stealer story

just wanted to say that when i removed my grill i had trouble putting it back i ended up breaking like 3 of the clips. i drove like 4 weeks with it like that made a heck of a rattle so i went to the stealer for some new clips. went in ordered a new piece of trim for the drivers side sill thingy the one right inside the door on the floor, and 4 clips, total price was like 50 bucks he told me the clips were like 2 bucks each!!!!!! and the sill was 38ish WTF!!!

sorry just wanted to share with ya'll
