I just pulled my rack to replace it, I pulled the steering gearbox as i am a cheepo and pick and pull cut me a good deal but I cannot get the gearbox spline to mesh back into the rack. I know i am screwed but is there anything I can do to get this back together? I feel like there should be a flat spot or index to get it back in. Is the giant alan head bold on the back of the rack a tensioner? does anyone know any tricks or do I really need to find an allan wrench that big? If so does anyone know the actual size of it? Ahhhhh!!
