Fuel filter

Now I know I'm overdue (by a year) on this simple change (so I hear) anybody have an idea of where to find it on a 1990 2wd auto ext cab pickup?

If so, how do I go about changing it?

not sure if it has a carb or not.... or if it matters... but it might be over just above one of the bed mounts on a clip on the frame in front of the right rear wheelwell

Not trying to hijack the thread, but could you tell the effects you saw when changing the fuel filter. I know there was a post about this earlier, but I'm curious what others saw.

If its a 22RE, Have freaken fun. Its tucked up in the engine compartment above the starter on the passenger side. I had to jack the truck up, remove the tire to get at it. Its a PITA
