Front End grinding

Hey,

Gotta question for all you out there. I've noticed over the last few weeks that went I make a left turn, above 20 mph, I hear a grinding sound coming from the front end drivers side. I don't hear this noise if i take a right hand turn from either side and there is no noise coming from the passenger side. Looked pretty cool standing on the corner while a friend drove round and round making different turns and different speeds let me tell you. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the cause and if you do what is the method of repair? Thanks in advance for your help.

Rubber is good, i don't know much about CV's. Have any advice on how to check them. It sounds like the teeth of gears grinding against each other.
