fog light mod help please

alright I did do the search and read the write up but I was not clear on a couple of points.
1.remove the fog light relay located in the engine compartment fuse panel and bend its top prong so that it no longer inserts into its usual location.

problemL: I don'[t know which is the top prong they all look the same.

2.Run the other end of the wire to the left side of the 10amp taillamp fuse. Ok i think i understand this part but do I need to put the fuse back in? it's pretty hard to do with a 14 gauge wire? also do I put the fuse relay back in on the other side where the fog light relay is?

3. After doing your mod, owners of the 2001-02 model year trucks need to locate the green and black wire in pin #16 of the connector to the DRL relay, relay D8. It's located just to the right of the steering column, down near the driver's right shin. I have that model year. So the wire harness is inside the truck on the bottom right below the steering column?

I know these sound like a stupaid question but I"m a total newb so please take it easy on me. thanks in advance.

I believe its the top prong and you really have to bend it. I am not sure where you got the write up but you should check this website out:

If you still have questions, you can e-mail JA. He is more than willing to help. I have e-mailed him a couple of times and has answered all of my questions. Also note that the DRL mod can get a little tricky because of the year. I have a 2000 and the DRL relay is in the engine bay instead of near my right shin in the driver seat. So there are some variables, what year do you have?

What year is a 200 4Runner....lol

If you look at the link provided, you will see that the top prong is the one closest to the enging and yes....you put in back in. I don't think the relay would work well if you connected a wire to it and didn't re-install it...
