flare problems

Hi guys, I just purchased some Bushwacker fender flares for my 90 4runner. Heres the problem, its a 2dr and flares are made for a 4dr. Instead of a smooth contoured edge, there is a different bend to compensate for the rear doors on the 4dr. They still fit, it just looks a bit strange. I think this is the only style they make for this year. Does anyone know if I would be able to heat up and reshape the 6 or so inches that look wrong, or maybe sand it down to fit? Kind of an expensive thing to experiment on. Thanks

I doubt that you could heat them up to reform them. Plastics aren't ment for that.
You might look at Warn flares. They make a nice set for pickups which may for for a 2dr 4Runner. They stick out farther and look cool.

Bushwacker makes flares for the pickups too. They even have a "cutout" flare if you want to add some really big meats.
