Finally did it.....Lift and Tires

Well when I joined this forum I promised myself that I was gonna leave this truck alone being that I already have a nice toy....99 SuperCharged Vette. Well I just want to thank you all for giving me the bug.

Here's what I did: TOYTEC OME3-RUN, Tokico Trekmaster R/T's, Sonoran Steel's drop diff kit and brake bracket and 285/75-16 Kuhmo A/T's

nice 4Runner cliff. Your lift looks really good. Now its time to get rid of them runnign boards and gain that much more ground clearance.

x3 on removing the running boards.
My 4runner is similar to yours lookwise minus the lift and clear turn signals but I removed my running and have a custom dented rear bumper.

Looks nice though.

Don't plan on doing much wheelin if any at all......plus my girlfriend already has a problem getting in and out of the truck now. I know laugh it up but I also need them to get in and out of the truck, I never had a lifted truck ever, everything I ever had was lowered....

The tire place didn't have time to do the alignment today but that will be taken care of monday. Other than that, the truck rides great.

Stupid, Jerk Question, But Why Raise it up 3 inchs and put 285s if you "Don't plan on doing much wheelin if any at all......" Thats Like having a 1000 Horsepower supra but dont plan on ever really going fast.

Looks good. No issues with the tires rubbing the upper As w/ the stock rims?

I know you said you'd get some comparison pictures next to a H3, but if you happen to stumble upon a stock 4Runner parked, take some pictures next to it. For me, that'd be a better judge.

Not really a Stupid, Jerk Question........There are plenty of cars etc with overkill, me personally I have a 600HP Vette that could break every speed limit in less than 4.0 seconds and in 2nd gear, but I drive it as much as I can. I'm sure I am not alone in saying this also but it's for the looks.

Cliffs pictures will be slghtly lower. I'm running (in the picture) 285 Interco SSR's which measure 33.9" diameter, and the ss kit but I added an additional spacer resulting in a full 1" spacer lift on top of the suspension so 3" in the front and I left the rear bump cone in adding just the slightest bit to the 3.5".

Yep Aaron, that's exactly what I had in mind

Love the comparison photos of a lifted/modded 4Runner vs a stock one. Really shows the difference.
