elocker motor

dose anyone know where i can get a new motor for a 96 tacoma elocker i cant seem to find one?

trdparts4u.com or PM tacozilla as he's also a oem parts distributor through a dealership.

prepare to spend some big coin for the actuator...they're apparently $750 for it (read that on ttora somewhere)

Holy cow, really!!!! You can practically buy a new entire thirdmember with e-locker for that price!

One option would be to go to http://www.car-part.com/ - search under "carrier" as the part name and you can find entire used 3rd's with e-locker for $300 +

The motor may be able to be rebuilt. Check with places that do rebuilds on small electric motors like power tools. It might be a simple matter of cleaning it up, lubing the bearings and replacing brushes. Someone makes a manual cable acttuator for them too.

I got mine shipped for $25 I believe. Ric, I thought yuo had 2 acuators at one time?

wait - I meant shipping was $25 on my 3rd member - not that i got it for $25. I used the site i linked in the post above to find a slavage yard that had a elocker. I have no idea who it was now - that was a few years ago.
