dead battery question

dead battery question

would a gps charger that is pulling 5v at 1amp kill a battery over 2 days of sitting?

oh i also have an Ipod charger that is plugged in as well. i do have the full time power mod. so they do get power when the key is off

The short answer is yes, it could. That is why most accessories turn off with the ignition. The length of time would depend on the quality/ condition of the battery.

Yeah I've been in the same predicament. I found that with older, so-so batteries, leaving accessories on will drain what little capacity it has. When I get a fresh new battery with lots of reserve capacity there are no issues with accesories.

well i shouldnt have an issue i have an excide Orbital rated at 1017cca
