Clutch Shop Recommendation - North Country San Diego, CA

Hello All,

Can anyone recommend a clutch house in North County San Diego, CA (or surrounding area's) that does a quality job at a decent price? I am willing to pay more if its done right the first time.
I Have had horrible luck with one of the guys here and need to get another quote.

Thanks,
Mark

Warriors, I'm in Solana Beach.

I would recommend Bill Smith Automotive in Solana Beach, right on N. Cedros. They are some great guys.

I have only heard good things from them so far. The last time I was there, they were almost the same price as the dealer ($15 difference) for new front CV boots. I will definitely give them a call when I get closer to doing this.

Is a clutch a reasonable DIY on 3rd Gen 4Runner's?

I have done a clutch or two myself on "normal" cars --- all RWD, no FWD, but I assume it's basically the same... ?
