hey i have a 1990 yota 4-runner v6 5-speed with lift coils in the rear but heard if i wanted to put the headers on i had to body lift it for more clearence and im always looking for some more lift so how do i do this i want to do it myself ive seen the kits with the new radiator mounts and stuff but all i do is lift the body place the new mounts in and the radiator drop mounts bolt it up call it a day? and lifting the body ive heard use a jack under the wheel well and then place the appropriate 2x4 under the truck to hold it up while you slide the mounts in. does this work and my shifter ive heard i have to bend that but i think i wont not at all it will just make it 3 inches shorter so... well give me some help guys i really want to do this so i cant get my headers and mor power
getting downey headers and crossover, dynomax exhaust kit downey chrome air tube" tornado" enhancer and a new throttle body hopefully this will be enough power to push 33" inch tires no problem. suggetsions wanted

Hi Proto, probably the best guy to answer that is Roger Brown, who makes the best body lifts.
Look in our vendor section for his "4Crawler" logo which will take you to his site.
He can explain all what's needed to put one on.
If you go with a 1" lift, you don't need to mod anything.
If you go with a 2" lift, you may need to extend the steering, and do some radiator work, and fab a mount for your bumper.
With his 1" lift, you can get 33s under there.
He's got some pics of a truck with the same body style as our 2nd gens he did that too, and it has 33s on it.
