bleeding the clutch line
I just replaced the slave clyinder on my 84 4runner and i need to bleed the line. How do i do this, i cant find the valve to do this or is it on the cylinder and if it is how do i do it? I know you depress the clutch, bleed the line, then take the clutch pedal back out i just can't figure out how to bleed the line.

Here is a quick and dirty way to bleed clutches and brakes .... way better than holding down the pedal and hoping to not get any air in the system while you tighten and untighten several times.
Have a good one,
Jeff

FSM says you should do the bleeding process at least 8 times, seems like alot but it needs to. Also if you drained the master cyl to replace the slave, you need to "bench" bleed the master. You can alternativly just open the valve on slave and pump the clutch a few times.
