Alpine CDA-9813

I just ordered my new head unit The Alpine CDA-9813. I know a few guys have this unit from reading the posts...so I was just curious which route you took to run the power cable to the battery? I took the stock head unit out and was looking around, but I don't see a hole in the firewall nearby. I am guessing behind the glovebox somewhere? Any info appreciated!! Thanks! Other than that I don't think it will be that bad...Hopefully

The best place is above the brake pedal, to the left. There is a gromet there that is used to run a sensor for the factory alarm. It also is on the same side as the battery.

I have a couple pictures from running my cb radio through here.

Dont mind the red wire, I added the hole.

I am talking about the yellow one from my pyrometer, and also the "loomed" wire. Follow the loomed wire and you will find the hole. Very good spot.

Thanks for the info!!!

Thanks for the info. Did you use a wiring harness, for the wiring except for the power of course? Also what other audio gear do you have. I think it is finally time for a quality system!!! Thanks!

asudan96Runner,

That is one NICE picture! If you don't mind me asking, which digital camera are you using?

Thanks,
