The sunroof on my runner has a slight leak when it rains and a major leak when I wash it at the car wash. I believe it is not sealing tight to the weather stripping. Also the latch does not seem to be very tight when I close the sunroof. Has anyone replaced their weatherstripping with a new factory one or is there a better way to seal it? Also anyone know a way to make it seal tighter by adjusting the latch? It does not look to have any adjustment but I know many of you fellow yotatechers are very resourceful and I am sure you have come up with something.

 

I have all that stuff extra glass, seal and handle if you are interested they are off of a 89. Could sell them for $100 +shipping? Other than replacing them i don't know what else to do. Pm me if you are interested.

Can I ask if you were able to fix it or is it too late? Having the same issue with my '87
