Is there a MAF on a second gen runner. Ive tried searching and all i could find was for 3rd gens. If there is one is it possible to clean, will i get better results like the 3rd gens, and where is it. Thanks everyone.

 

It actually has an Air Flow Meter (AFM). A MAF uses a wire and electricity to measure how much air flows whereas an AFM uses a flap that opens and closes according to how much air passes through. It's the box that's attached to airfilter chamber thingy.

Not sure if there's anything to clean, I don't think so. Your best bet is to clean the throttle body.
