2002 4Runner Starting Issue

Sorry guys. I know the steps to take in this situation but I'm in a time crunch and need your help. I'm having to move this week and when I went out to start up my old runner to get it out of the way, it wouldn't start. Most all of my tools have been moved to my new house so I am working with a multi-meter, some simple hand tools and a few wiring supplies. 2002 4Runner 3.4, 145,000 miles. Unknown Timing Belt. Haven't started in two months.

Here's where I'm at so far. The battery has had a draw on it for some time so to keep the battery alive, I disconnected the feed wire to the fuse.. Today I put it back on, got a little spark but not too bad. All of my fuses are good.
I don't have a check engine light on.
I have tried to start it under battery power and with a jump start. Just rolls over and over with no hit.
I have a fuel smell under the hood. Opened the air box and it got stronger. Pulled the air filter and there is a visible fuel vapor coming through the air box.

It's obvious that there is fuel injection but no combustion. I'm feeling like it's electrical but not sure where to start. I'd sure appreciate any ideas you guys and gals might have. I used to hate posts like this because the answer is probably out there but I'm in a bind and need this thing running like quick.

Thanks again,

Charchee

With the smell of fuel in the air box, I was concerned about timing. Today I pulled the timing cover and everything looks to be ok with the timing belt. I'm going to borrow an extension or two and try and check for spark tomorrow. Any ideas how to test the ignition without pulling a plug?
