02 replacement question

Just replaced the air / fuel sensor on my 99 4runner. Would there be any reason I should disconnect / connect the battery after the replacement?

Thanks.

Im guessing no unless your CEL is on. You could if you wanted to but I dont see the need.

I could be wrong tho, I dont know too much about the 96+ OBDII systems.

I didn't think so either, but I read another post where the original poster said he pulled the EFI fuse and disconnected the battery. I'm not going to worry about it...

It just takes longer for the computer to adjust to the new info, but it doesn't really matter.

No need to reset...It will automatically go off after a few miles after the computer adjusts....
