I've got an 01 Tacoma reg cab that I would like to put a high pinion 79 Ford 44 into. Being as though I have to shorten the tubes, I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a stock inner axel that fits well. The diff. housing locates the spring so I can't cut one side down more than the other. I've done the research and know what I'm up against and I'm not scared, but haven't come up with a stock inner axel for the Ford 44. Wasn't sure if a Waggy would work? or is custom cut the only option?
