anyone know where to get cheap parts or aftermarket parts for the sport hoods? i have one, but i need the black insert that goes inside it to complete everything. my toyota dealer wants $180 for that stupid plastic thing that goes inside to cover it up. wtf!?

 

The stealership (or junkyard) is your only option.
You could get creative and make something yourself to fill that gap...

 

check with the dealer that posts here... I haven't been on much in the last 6 3-6 mo, but I assume people still use Northridge Toyota (? I think that is the right one...)

 

have you tried 1sttoyotaparts.com or trdparts4u.com? The part numbers you're looking for are on a few threads in here, I remember seeing them and they'll be easy to find in search.
