how should I update my gearing and ball joints/rocker arms in my 89 toy stock truck?

 

Whats your end goal with the truck? Just looking for a little lift? What motor/trans in the truck?

 

22re engine and stock transmission. I want to have more work when climbing over obstacles so I can maneuver more slowly ....mostly go to the desert and do mild to moderate obstacles. The front end is all stock.

 

Sounds like some lower axle gears or possibly a transfer case doubler is what you need!

 

so how do I go about asking for lower axel gears...that's what I want>>>like ring and pinion 4.88 or 5+? I also want a beefier front end...what do you recommend?
