.........

My sis' family and her son's GF and Mom on Mothers Day at Benihana! ........

Lil video of the Chef, lol(was a very cool guy, funny).......

One of me and Mum when I took her out for her BDay at Lazy Dog(MAN that was a good lunch! lol)....

Just some of the hundreds of flowers I grow(use them for decorating all the time)...

PS> On a side note... If anyone see's an outlaw 2/15x8" rim, solo, floating around... PLEASE remember me and lemme know? Guys around here have 2 or 4 or more,...wont break em up(don't blame em).... But they also are NUTS for what they're asking. I got mine for like 125$ for 4!!!!!

OK; First, ....I just want to say thanks to EVERYONE who's tried to help me through the grelmin hunting.... FOR TWO YEARS IN SOME CASES! lol..... All that said, for now, "I'M DONE HUNTING" for a while. Oddly enough, when Toyo posted that, I'd decided to just DRIVE IT, sucky mileage/miss and all, for now! lol. I'll get back to that when I have time/in my own time, posting up what I find.
I'm going to work on a few projects that I have MOST of the supplies for.
1.) I'm going to first wire up and install my Marine Fuse Block(I will need this done for other projects in the list).....

Adding to the Fuse Block install picture above, I have PLENTY of wire and connectors and heat shrink and ... etc., for most of it(will get what I need/IF more is needed).
2.) Once the Fuse Block is installed(or simultaneously), I will be installing all of my components into it(8" DC lights, Power Antenna), including the 2 Auxiliary "All Weather" 12V Car outlets(One up front and one in the back, SOMEWHERE, haven't decided yet/Possibly on the trailer hitch somewhere---so I can keep it buttoned up keeping skeeters out while still needing power).

3.) Also running off the fuse block, a 4G Power wire that will split into 2- 8G wires off a separate fuse-less block for the 2 Amplifiers that will run; 4Channel to the 4 in front and rear and 2Channel to the 10" JL Sub...

4.) I will likely have wiring hooked up from the Fuse Block and run through the pillars and roof insulation to the grommet on top for some rectangular hi-power lights with quick release IN THE front of the Con-Ferr. This would allow me to EASILY pull them and stuff em back into the roof insulation when not running the rack(Would rather not ADD yet another thing like a Light bar up there/permanent, ya know?)
5.) Somewhere, thereafter/possibly before/THEREIN-DURING all of the above...; I will head up to the Angeles Crest, w/or/w/out some Yotatechies, and MAKE AND EAT ONE OF THESE WHILE CHILLING IN THE CREEK ON A 100*f DAY! >>>

Or maybe this>>

HAHAHAHA
************************************************** ***************
Anyway, I could probably use some thoughts/ideas on routing, etc. I'll post up with what I come up with and then PLEASE, tell me I'm crazy or whatever, k?
PS> The Con-Ferr will be added SHORTLY thereafter, hopefully! I just want to focus on things that I have MOST EVERYTHING for, right now, and then that'll give me more time to come to a decision on how I want to mount the con-ferr to the rails(The rails idea is set... just gotta figure out which bolts will work, etc., cuz it's very tight and the sliding square nuts I have will NOT fit unless I grind them down.... which would then take away their angle-strengthened curve, ya know?) I would like to be able to loosen the nuts on the Con-Ferr and then slide bolt hex heads backward toward the rear and leave 2 in, creating a canopy of sorts/simultaneous storage while chilling under it. I think it's a great idea and it would be so easy to attach an RV canopy to the side of it and make it even MORE shady(remember, some of the places I go are over 100*F, sometimes 115*F, during the day.... so SHADE IS CRUCIAL! lol.)

Those are some great family pics and the ther pics you posted were perfect. Nothing like mine turn out.
On your exhaust bolt that is starting to strip, I have taken a short drill and busted the right size bit down to little more then half way and got to it that way. Basically shortening the overall length. Got to find the happy medium of short enough to get by the MC but long enough to drill as deep as needed. Dont think removing the MC would be to bad to do.

.... Ahhh, it's a G54 or something? Shucks! lol. Far as the rims, yeah, that would work.. But they'd have to be 4-5 15x8" with 3.75" Backspacing? (I think that's what mine are). I've found a couple sets, but MAN, way too far(Palm Springs, etc.)...not worth 40$ in gas! lol. Quote:
Lol, thanks, man! Appreciate it! It is MY MISSION, "to inspire drooling appetites accross the Yota Community of 'The Yotatech Brotherhood'! " hahaha. Originally Posted by Lycanistic

Thanks, on the pics! My neighbor said any machine shop can cut it and shape it for me cheap... or just take the new one(shorty) i got and taper it(if I can FIND IT! GRRR! Looking everywhere, can't seem to find it! Argh! lol)Originally Posted by Terrys87

Far as 'removing', ...it's the booster that's in the way, so it would all have to come off together? Not a huge deal, but just have too read up on it IF I can't get a shorty drill bit(if I CAN get the bit, I think it's room enough to do it!

For my shorty drill bit. I stuck it in a vise and got a large pair of vise grips and it doesnt take much bending. It snapped to the length I needed. Wasnt high tech and one less drill bit in the tool box, but that was my cheapscape solution. lol.. I was afraid if I removed the booster, that would be something else that would leak or needing fixed. On problem usually creates another one for me it seems.
Hey Terry!
Yeah, I will probably just head back to Nate's and have them order me one specific to my desire. The shorty I have is 2" max of drill.... 1.75"(?) of shaft. That leaves only 2" protruding from a right/angle drill like I have... and would make it VERY doable with the manifold off.

The one on the top and far rear seems to be the one I have the biggest problem. Guess which one is the second most problem? Right below it.lol
I've been very overwhelmed with the big 3(work/caregiving and the rig), so the rig has had to be VERY SLOW in the going, lol.... BUT, I went out yesterday and figured out the wiring and mounting to a point. Here's how I'll wire up the main lead........

The next pic is the connector that will go on the terminal of the battery........

They are both 4AWG connectors, but I needed a much smaller connector eyelet for the fuse block than the other one for the battery. They fit JUST right, nice and tight, over each threaded post.
I am going to mount something SIMILAR to Ian(irab) for the purpose of getting the fuse block up and off the fender well. I was going to mount it in the back, behind the relay for the 8" lights... but I want to keep the feed wire as short as possible for the power supply.
I will be running 2 wires, individually, in heat shrink, back into the cab, then splitting into the amps. Probably 8AWG for each Amp... Then 10AWG for the 2 12V aux ouputs. The rest of it, so far, is already in the engine bay, so that'll just be strapped to the fuse block and voila, I'm done! lol.... WITH THAT PART! hahaha.

I might have a line on an 89 4Runner/V6 5spd........ 1000$/Running. (wont pass smog)... I KNOW, I KNOW! lol. I would 'non-op' it and start workin.
Hahahaha.... Well, waiting for a call back.... But as I thought about it, I've realized that I HAVE to entertain this loaded 89 might best be served with a 3.4! lol. Seriously... to start with a FAIRLY CLEAN 89, decent interior, etc., but just a tired 3.0... Why not use THIS one as my swap dream? lol. I could just roll it non-op for a while and take my time doing a 3.4 swap(with help/guidance from Anthony1 and MANY others on here). It's needing some grill area work(like NEEDING A GRILL, lol... and possibly bumper, etc., but HEY, for 1000$?) .... Maybe even just leave the veezee in there and try to get it to pass and just roll it til it dies while searching for 'which route with the motor' I would go.
Anyway, it's all speculation until I hear back from him. He's TOTALLY given up after ONE TRY at the smog repair station(all he did was have it sniffed with a scope... never wanted to add another part from there..Just wants to be done with it)..... I smell an 'EGR' or '02' issue, lol.
Like I said, 'nothing is for sure, EVER' right? lol... So we'll see. But, it's fully loaded with electric everything and, most importantly, a 5spd! Don't see many of those in the V6. My buddy has an 88 that's CLEAAAAAAAAAN, 5spd, and it does REALLY well on hills/hwy, etc., ya know? He knows ALL the tricks and ins and outs with these.. so like I said, if he for instance has all I need to keep it on the road for a while, might just leave it swap free, ya know? IF I even get it! lol.

Sounds like a plan!! As I read your statement, all that was flowing threw my head was,
"do it!" Haha
"do it!" Haha
Yeah, you and the 'JUST DO IT' lately, eh? hahahaha. "SAS? DO IT!" , "LT? DO IT!", "3.4 SC SWAP? DO IT!" HAHAHAHA. love it. How's your beast, man? Been waiting for an update on that! ................That said, ........'DO IT!' hehehe.
BTW, ....that 89? Pretty sure the tires are near new 32x11.50 BFG-KM1's(CL find or something)... We'll see... I NEVER get my hopes up any longer... Especially since it's around an hour drive and in the Valley, which if you knew L.A., you'd know.... THAT MEANS IT'LL GO FAST! lol. Not sure he'll wait for me, ya know? Anyway, like I said, all speculative at this point... NO chickens will be counted! lol. Hmmm, chicken sounds good for lunch tomorrow! lol.

hurry up with that electrical gizmo so I can copy you after you've done all the work!
You going to sell the 87' if you get the 89' ?.... just ask'n
