Started swapping my 67 Stout body onto an 85 Hilux 4x. If anyone else has done this, I’d sure like to hear from you.

A few pics. The body fits fairly closely to the 85. The radiator to fan clearance looks like it will be the biggest issue. Once the body to frame mounts are fabbed, and things aren’t moving around, I’ll start working on the core support.

Finished mock up of bed mounts, front cab mounts, and core support mount. Need to remove the bed to fab the rear cab mounts.
I need to mock up the brake booster and then set the steering column angle at the firewall next.
Still looks like the radiator and fan will be a challenge.

Finished mock up of the brake booster and clutch master. Also got the radiator mounts fabbed. Steering column is next. Looks like I’ll need to splice the steering shaft in order to use the 67 steering wheel on the 85 shaft.
