M considering swapping out my tired 20r for something a little more spunky like a 289 or 305 any suggestions or help as to where I can find stuff for doing this I would like to keep as much of the drivetrain as possible

 

The 350 is a more popular swap in these trucks and 350 parts are cheap and abundant - they have 350 parts in the check out lanes at grocery stores! I'm a toyota guy so I go all original, but I'm sure somebody will chime in with help. Might want to get Rob (Dropzone) to move this thread to the tech section for more results.
