I am thinking of getting the Front Range Off Road - DRotor upgrade kit (along with a full floater axle)
The kit mounts a current iteration 4Runner rear brake set up on an older generation Toyota axle housing.
So it essentially mounts a 4Runner rear disc brake AND the integral "drum" parking brake on to a FULL FLOATER modified early generation Toyota axle.
What is NOT clear from the pictures, is how the parking brake cable is routed on the current 4Runner.
I would like someone to take a pic of their stock rear axle, showing how the parking brake cable is routed..
I looked under an FJ Cruiser, but could not see a cable mounted "behind" the axle.
The reason for the curiosity, is that I also plan to convert the axle to a spring under configuration, and I want to know if I am going to create interference with the "bell crank" if I re locate the spring perch.
