FS[MidAtl]: Looking for full cruise control 1988 efi 5 speed
#2
You are gonna be dam lucky to find everything you need in one place. Wherever you find the stuff, it's gonna cost ya $$$
A correct combination switch in good condition is gonna be the hardest thing to lay hands on, and functional OEM vacuum servos are not easy to find either.
Dashboard switch, cruise control computer, wiring harness, ect, ect, ect.....
There is a signaling device in the gauge cluster that factory cruise needs, as well. Not sure if non-cruise equipped truck clusters contain this device, or not.
If I wanted cruise in a non-factory cruise truck of this vintage, I'd go aftermarket. Good luck, and please tell us how you do.
I have a functioning factory cruise control in my '87 SR5 'Runner and it took me a while to make it so.
