Looking for a front windshield washer pump for my 86 4Runner. Mine's rusted through and leaking. Obviously I'd be looking for one in good working order with no signs of corrosion.

Apparently some trucks came with a "cold weather" package that used a larger resevoir and different pump. Mine isn't such a model and has the smaller (1.7 liter) resevoir.

I have an 87 runner and I had the same problem. I was able to pick up a universal pump at my local napa for something like 15.00.

 

Interesting- did the factory wiring plug onto it without modification?

good to hear you found one if any of you find your self in a pinch and need a pump for the front the rear one fits in the front I bought a few tanks and pumps from the junk yard and one I bought someone had switched out the rear pump for the front one and it worked fine.
