Ok, I've been chasing down gremlins for a month and I give up. I've got my 2nd baby was born thursday, and I just don't have any more attention span, or time for this car.

Heres the good
New Motor, Trans, Transfer case
Cylinder head
Timing chain
Water pump
New Shocks
New Muffler
Good BFG AT 31 x10.5
New Front axles
Radiator
alternator
Fairly clean body, but there is mud in it.
I have been driving it every day for 3 weeks, so it is capable.

The bad
I can't ever get all the codes to go away. 21,51, and 52 consistantly come back.
I am not a good wire chaser. I have over $3000 in this car since buying it a month ago. I could keep driving it but it's not right and it bugs me. So some one else may asl well finish it off.

The new drive line alone has to be worth 3K.

congrats on the new kid. my daughter just turned 18, man they grow up fast!

 

Code 51 is usually due to a bad, or stuck TPS not returning all the way to the proper idle position.

 

i put a new tps on already, and code went away, for a while.
