Anyone know where I can find a rear tire carrier for my 2nd gen 4runner? I know that Toyota had this as an option everywhere but the US.

They were stock on the 90-91 only models I have one on mine and to set it up on any thing that did not come stock with it requires a lot of welding. You will need to do a plate on the right rear quater in side to support the mounting point for the hanger then the inside of the tailgate will need the same treatment to hold the tire rack closed and the weight of it and the tire. My friend is still thinking about it but not sure he wants to have to repaint from the heat of the welding.
