1999 Yamaha YZF R1 REDUCED again to $4,900

For Sale

NEW PRICE $4,900 Or Best Offer.

1999 Yamaha YZF R1 1000cc 27,545mi (i'm still riding her so it will be a little higher)

I am not in a hurry to sell so I'm not going to take a low offer. I love this bike but I think it's time for something with more people room (I'm thinking a mustang so trades for mustangs are welcome). I think the R1 is the best bike ever made (NOT FOR YOUR FIRST BIKE) I really can't say I know how fast it will go but i do know it will do 166mph no probablem an it wasn't even close to red line. it has a 2 brothers racing exhaust that sounds awesome, it has blue neon lights in the side grills that look sweet at night (see pic) the tires are both metzeler M-1s they are both good, rear tire was new about middle of last year and i haven't put many miles on it and the front looks new. i got it last year with 24,443mi on it and took it to a yamaha dealer for the 26,000 mi service I can't find my receipt for this but i remember it was over $500 with every thing they did. i also had the rear wheel bearing and seals replacedon 8/18/05 and i have a receipt for this. the bike has sweet looking blue xenon head lights. flush turn signels and some other little things like that. now the bad. the guy i got it from layed it over, nothing bad it just busted up some of the plastic, it was never reported so it has a clear title. when i got it i fixed it up. It has new head lights, front uper faring, and new mirrors. the only road rash left is on the 2 right side farings and a little on the tale peace (you could cover that up with a sticker). the bike starts, run and rides awesome it only hurt the plastic when he layed it over. the only reason i'm selling is to get money for a car there is nothing wrong with the bike. the bike is in new oxford PA Call me at (717)521-6764 or email me jeff@pannebaker.com.

Nice looking bike... very tempting to pick up another bike... but i think your asking alittle too much... i was just shopping for 2004s for under $5k... just food for thought. Keep the shiney side up!

My friend struggled to get $5500 for his '99 and he had only 6k on it plus a CF Vance&Hines muffler on it. I wish would have snagged it since he offered it to me for under $5k.
He did get his price but it took only a year.
