Will These Fit my '84 4X2 DLX?
Upgrading my tires and wheels to 15" from the factory 14" steelies.
Found a clean set of nice Ultra mags that went on a Jeep Wrangler. Was wanting to try some Yokohama tires because I read good reviews on them and I am burned out on Goodyear. The last Goodyears I purchased for my Ford ZX2 are crap. It is a toy truck... driven in the South so I need a great all-season tire good in rain. I jus haul light stuff now and again, so I don't need dedicated LT tires that are good for on/off-road. I was thinking of trying the Yohohama Geolander HT tires but the smallest I can get in those are 235/70R15's.
I have found several topics online that suggest 225/70R15 as the largest to go on early 4x2 pickups. Will the 235's be too much tire for suspension/steering components?
Thanks in advance.

Buy a used one and do a test for.
generally if you have found multiple sources saying something you can count on it.
adding bigger/heavier wheels & tires will cause stuff to wear faster. Part of the game
