Which wheel width is best to get??

Which wheel width is best to get??
A guy i know is wantin some new wheels for his truck, only problem is, he doesnt know how wide he can go,
he will be running at the smallest a 235x??x15
would that work with the 10inch wide rims?
or will he have to get the 8inch wide rims?

i would go with an 8" wide wheel. you can use them on 12.5 wide tires no problem. when you use a wide wheel on a skinny tire it just looks bad, and makes the tire a little bit shorter because it's stretched out to fit on the rim.
