I have stock rims on my 99 4Runner, three spoke.

The finish is coming off and they look like crap.
I've called around to get them refinished but I'm getting qoutes for around $150 a rim.

I was just at Discount Tire getting new BFG's on and they start talking to me on a deal they can do on their rims from MB wheels / For $125 a rim....

My question is: are Discount Tire Rims just as good (quality) as my three spoke stock rims or should I keep what I have and refinish them?

I would appreciate some feedback.

 

I just went through the same thing. My stock wheels need to be refinished and I even bought the dupli-color wheel paint and was going to do them myself. I ended up ordering a set of Eagle 058 alloy rims for 120$ each including the center caps and will be mounting some Dynapro MT's on them. They are still on order but when I get them on my truck I will post a pic. I still plan on painting my stock wheels and mounting my winter tires on them so that I don't have to run my new wheels through the road salt.
