Pro Comp Extreme MT vs BFG MT KM2

Well I'm on the hunt for tires and have decided between two sets, the Pro comp extreme mt and the BFG KM2's.
Ive heard alot of good about the km2's but ive searched thick and thin to find little to nothing about the pro comps

Hoping to run 32 11.5 15's on 15x8 3 3.4 " back spacing

What kind of experience does any one have with these tires, and any opinions on what ones i should go for?

I have some 285 75 16s on an expidition. They are not as noisy as I had thought they would be, especially if you inflate to 40lbs for the road. As they wear you will feel them slapping on the road whenever you turn and they do get louder with age.

They are softer than I would like but then again they are on a expy which is very heavy. I have ripped good sized chunks out of them from climbing a very rugged hill with lots of loose, football sized sharp rocks w/o airing down while spinning the tires pretty hard.

I have about 15k miles on them and have not approached the 50% wear point.

These tires are, and should be, excellent in the mud. I had BFG ATs on it before and the difference is night and day. They track nicely on dirt or gravel roads and really set and bite in the corners. I have not been in loose sand, but in the river bottoms I have been in I have not seen these dig as bad as I thought they would. The tires don't bruise easily and have lots of tread for bitting on the side. I firmly believe these tires are better than the old BFG MTs I had on my 86 toy.

I too am looking at the BFG KM2 or the PCs, either the XMTs or the Xterrain for the 95 runner I bought. In the end it will come down to price. PC runs a promotion from time to time, buy three, get the 4th free. That is why I ended up with these on the expy, 850 vs 1150, there wasn't much to decide at that point.

I have 285/70/17 PRO COMP XMT's. I am happy with them. Good ride on and off-road. I havent had much time in the mud yet, but on rocks they are strong, no chunking. It is not a very sticky M/T so it wears well. They balanced out well and are not too noisy on road.
I've heard good things about the KM2 as well, it may very well come down to price. Good luck, but I dont think either is a bad choice.

I am in the same boat, not sure which one to choose in a 33/10.50/15...price will probably be the deciding factor for me too!

I love my KM2's. They don't have the pull that the boggers had in the mud. But I walk right through holes that my buddies MTR's have to be throttled through. All around the best tires I've ever bought. Talked another friend of mine into the KM2's and he loves them now too.
