New tires
Just replace my 6 year old General Altimax RT43 tires that only has 35K. I notice the side walls had miniature cracking, and on Monday the front tire blew a side wall from internal failure. I check the air pressure couple times a month and rotate once a year. Now I don't trust the others, so they all have to go now, even with excellent tread left.
Went online and saw the Hankook Synergy ST (H735) in 205/70R14 for a lower price and they got great reviews every where I looked. They were $101 tire at Discount Tire and they price matched. Walmart had them for $77 a tire. I got the discount no hassles and out the door for a few bucks over $400 a set. No up selling or pressure.
They are very quiet, but most new street tires are when new. Seem to feel the same as the RT43 which i liked the handling in wet and dry. The size is the same, but the tread pattern is wider on the RT43s. They so look a bit slimmer under the fenders. If they are as good as the reviews say, then I'll be happy.
The service writer was a young guy, maybe mid 20s.They usually back the vehicles out the garage. He walked up to me, said there is a problem as he can't drive a stick, and asked me to back it out. LOL. Kids.

No, but will post one in a few days after the remnant of the hurricane blows through. Going to get a lot of rain. My home page truck pic is with the General Altimax RT43s. They like every other 205/70-14 tire i installed from various manufacturers over 37 years looked meaty enough. The Hankooks aren't thin, but the tread width is a bit less. That can vary on same size tires. I have about 4000 miles on them and no complaints. Just had to add 2 psi per tire to get the same road feel.
