irok tire wear ( newb question)

irok tire wear ( newb question)

anybody running irok's on the road . im thinking about getting some today . im wondering how they wear . im looking at 36x13.50x15 .

i heard the radials do ok, but the main thing is keeping the proper pressure in the tires, and keeping your truck in alignment, and keeping the tires balanced...and NO BURNOUTS LOL!!!

yea i heard the same thing about the radials , but the tread depth looks to be alot less than the bias ply . i need something fairly aggresive .

If you need something that agressive, get a set that you use only for wheeling, and keep a set for the pavement. for about a hundred bucks more you can have another set of wheels, and mount up some street weenies for the pavement.

IROK's, in general, aren't necessarily made for pavement, and wear very quickly

thanks for the help . i went and looked at some irok's , they were a softer compound . i went ahead and got a set of 36x12.50x15 tsl's . 100 bux cheaper than the irok's . they look pretty good on the truck . pics;
