i just had some 285 national mud trac mt's installed and was wondering if anyone had used them and had input on em. got a pretty good deal so i just said "put em on". $605 w/ old disposal, mount balance, tax out the door.

Never heard of them but they look fairly similar to the BFG M/T. My guess is they will be pretty good

 

are these tires siped? how are you liking them in the rain?

 

They look like decent mud tires and you did get a decent deal on them. I wouldn't expect them to do well in the rain or on ice though. The lack of siping will have the sliding all over.

 

they arent siped, but i just took a utility knife to em and after about an hour, i had siped tires. since then, the sipes have opened up nicely, and ive had no problems in the rain (which i drive in a lot).
