I'm looking at steel 15x7 wheels. I have the choice of 3.75" backspace or 4.5" backspacing. Which is closer to stock? Will 4.5" rub? I prefer less tire sticking out of the wheel wells, but obviously don't want rubbing. I've spent way too much time trying to find stock backspacing info for 1998 Toyota alloys...

 

Well never mind. Turns out very, very few steel wheels fit this model truck, so I just found some stock steelies and ordered them. They match my current spare.
