15"x9.5" rims with -47 offset. Will 10.5" wide tire work?
I have a 94 2nd Gen 4Runner. I've spent hours and hours trying to find some 31x12.5x15" tires, but this size seems to be discontinued by most manufacturers. How do you think the stock/optional size tire 31x10.5x15 would look on these rims? I'm thinking they will look too skinny for such a wide rim, and I've seen some suggest that the rim should be approximately 70% or less the width of the tire.
I would like to stick with 31" tires if possible, as I do not want to worry about speedo inaccuracies or changing out gears to keep the already limited power the 94 4Runner has.
Any suggestions?

I thought so too as I saw people posting about the BFG 31x12.5R15's, but when going to BFG's website they no longer have the 31x12.5R15's listed. I've seen some websites selling tires in that size, Pro Comp and Super Swampers, and even some that claim to still have the BFG's.
My main question now is, are the 10.5" wide tires I already have not a good idea for the 9.5" wide rims?
