I have not had a pair of good sandals in ages, and I wanted the kind you could wear in the water too to scramble over rocks in river/creek beds.

I had four $25 gift cards for Cabelas to use up, so I did some research and found these.

They got very good reviews at Cabelas.
I will wear these mainly while camping and by a creek/river.
Also fun to setup a camp chair in the middle of a creel/river and pass the time away, or walk upstream and belly float back down.
That is what my two sons and I use to do long time ago when they were small.
We all wore the aquasocks back then, but I do not think they even make those anymore.

Also looked at reviews in a new flashlight, and this Surefire that Cabelas has is a top notch unit.

Comes in two models, I got the LED one that puts out 80 lumens, and can run for 12 hours.



The reviews are very positive on this LED light.
